Handelskwekerij J. van Rulo is a nursery located in Oirschot, North Brabant in the triangle Eindhoven, Tilburg, Den Bosch. Our nursery covers 10 hectares of sandy loam soil, which is always sown partly with green manure crop. Here we grow a wide assortment of conifers and shrubs in uniform batches. Sections of these we grow into solitary quality. All plants are regularly transplanted at a proper growing space and pruned (machine), so we get uniform batches with good root balls. A large part of our assortment is grown to about 250 cm.

Through transplanting and root pruning, our plants have a dense root system. Because in spring the plants stay in the ground with sprouted rootballs we are able to deliver longer.

All hedge plants are mechanically pruned at least 1x per year. Also due to the cylindrical pruning of the plants, this will result in a direct "dense" hedge up to the top.

All plants are planted at a large distance. This results in good quality. By growing grass on all paths, we ensure less soil compaction.

After each crop, the plots are extensively fertilized with manure and worm manure. After which a green manure crop is sown. This results in a lot of organic material,  light soil and a healthy soil biota.
